Peer review process

Manuscripts that meet the preliminary evaluation criteria will be submitted to a peer review process external to the publishing institution of the journal. A double-blind review system (Instrument for Peer Review) will be used, where both authors and reviewers will remain anonymous. Reviewers will be experts in the corresponding topic area and will provide objective and constructive evaluations. The final decision to publish will be based on the quality, relevance and originality of the works, this being the responsibility of the section editor in charge of the editorial management of the submission in question.

When participating in peer review, reviewers must declare any conflict of interest that could influence their ability to impartially evaluate the scientific article. This disclosure includes any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could cause bias in the evaluation of the manuscript.

Reviewers should also refrain from reviewing articles where they may have conflicts of interest with the authors, such as recent collaborations or similar institutional affiliations. The declaration of conflicts of interest is a fundamental part of the peer review process to ensure integrity and impartiality in the evaluation of scientific articles.
