Policy on the deposit of article versions in repositories

Revista Gregoriana de Ciencias de la Salud follows an open-access policy and promotes transparency and visibility of scientific findings. Therefore, it allows and encourages the deposit of articles in institutional or author-selected repositories and the journal's official repository. This policy aligns with the guidelines established by platforms such as Sherpa/Romeo and Dulcinea, which provide information on open-access policies of scientific journals and publishers.

Article versions and their deposit in repositories

  1. Submitted version (Preprint):

    • Its dissemination is not recommended, as it has not undergone peer review or been validated by the editorial team.
  2. Accepted version (Author Accepted Manuscript, AAM, Postprint):

    • Although this version has passed peer review, it has not yet been formatted or edited to meet the journal’s standards. For this reason, its deposit in institutional, thematic, or personal repositories is not recommended.
  3. Published version (Version of Record, VoR, Publisher’s PDF):

    • Authors may freely deposit this version in repositories without an embargo period. It is recommended that the deposit include the entire article reference and a link to the original version published in the journal. Additionally, this version may be stored in the journal's official repository and databases recognized by Sherpa/Romeo and other compatible platforms.

All articles published in the journal are licensed under a Creative Commons (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license, allowing their use, distribution, and reproduction with proper attribution as long as they are not used commercially.
